I launched my writing career after more than 14 years as a public school teacher and during my season as a stay-at-home mom.
I planned to write a book about domestic abuse someday, but it didn’t really come together the way that I thought it would and so I stepped off and wrote a few devotionals for other special-needs moms, a book about chickens and raising them on a budget and even created a few educational units for other mom.
I started writing about domestic abuse whrn my children and I plunged into a world of abuse by my ex-husband.
At first, I found my writing to be primarily cathartic, but then it developed into a passionate message for others.
I share many of the twists and turns of his creepy personality in my Book He Lied, but things turned darker when my own mother was uncovered as his co-conspirator.
Now Over 17 years since our journey of escaping my ex-husband began, we are still fighting him and waiting for justice to be served.
My special needs son who was kidnapped by my ex-husband is currently missing, and I find myself in the daily onslaught of threats, vandalism, and most recently two death threats by my ex-husband.
And So I Write
I remain passionate about true crime centered on domestic abuse. Because at the heart of many murders against women particularly, lies a man who at some point became so depraved of his soul that he launched a murderous spree.
My passion here on this site focuses on the profiles of abusive men as criminals, narcissists, sociopaths, and general all-around psychopaths.
